A Sleeping Gem Poem by Paul Hensley

A Sleeping Gem

Rating: 5.0

Here I lay,
My head next to hers,
In this moment, peace embraces me, .

Each night, I witness her slumber,
Excitement and pride; Truly mesmerizing.

As I gaze into those unique eyes,
Innocence shines,
Filled with hope,
An Intriguing sensation unfolds.

Her smile embraces my heart,
That laughter; Eternally imprinted in my mind.
Pure joy emanates,
She is embodied Love,
Life essence,
Without her, meaning dissipates.
