A Soul That Maybe Thinks Too Much - Poem by Shyamal R Swamy
How many times have I tried,
Looking at me on the inside
To find deep deep within
A soul of love or sin?
Oh I don't understand
This strange mythical land
My soul is a picture like
A mixed up psyche
A lone wanderer
An eternal ponderer
But I doubt if that's a disguise
Cause questions do arise
Is it all a lie within?
Does this picture lie and hide a sin
Cause I believe, beauty and mystery
Might just be hiding reality
Is my soul locked up in a cage?
Or is it just a blurred image?
To find answers I'll eternally try
Till then, my beliefs will help life pass by
I believe, my soul a rolling sea
Forever trying to reach ahead and see
Forever loving the shore
And feet of love even more
