A Spark Of God Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

A Spark Of God

The sense of
good and just
is like a spark
of God in us.

It is the sense of
our childhood in God,
which we profess in faith,
that we know that
the good should be
and that we keep
the longing for
justice alive.

In this world, good
and bad always
come in pairs.

We neither find
pure good nor
pure evil.

There is little black
and white, there is
much gray.

Wheat and weeds
stand together.

Our sense of
good and evil
is correct.

But God reserves
the judgment to
separate the wheat
from the weeds.
