A Special Mother - Poem by Stacy P. Law

If I searched this world from one end to the other
No matter how I tried I'd never find another
Who means as much to me as my dear mother

When I'm feeling weak, helping me to be strong
Standing by my side, encouraging me to go on
Telling me it's best to never do wrong

These words of wisdom she never fails to say
Just try to live your life day by precious day
"don't ever follow, always try to lead
always give, selfishness is greed
walk straight, don't go astray
when you feel you can't, remember to pray
count your blessings for they do grow
you always reap whatever you sow"

Truly one of God's children, and angel from above
he sent you to this earth to spread His true love
All the thanks in the world just wouldn't be enough
To thank the Lord for sending me someone who means so much
