A Stare From The Heart Poem by Sofia Jacobs

A Stare From The Heart

There was a girl who refused to be loved,
Yet she dreamed of the day she hoped to be.
Falling asleep, closing her eyes to dream
See him, look into his eyes
Perfect, in love and happy they are
Listen to him play his guitar

In his eyes, she's the only girl in the world
Where she can be herself
Eating candy floss together
While the endless talking goes on
Holding hands, walking
Then stop…

As she looks into his eyes
Feel him stare into hers
The way she feels is all that applies
Her heart, it soars

When he looks at her
She IS the only girl in the world
Not from the stare
Because of the fact that he cares
Because he will love her from the bottom of his heart
To the very, very top
