A Steep Price Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

A Steep Price

Rating: 3.0

the price they paid is the blood they shed
their remains lie lost in paddy fields
they lie alone among the fallen

they crossed fields of fire as the foe fled
leaving behind wounded and dead
the price they paid is the blood they shed
