A Steward Poem by Solomon Terlumun Tule

A Steward

Rating: 5.0

I am a steward
there's nothing I own for myself
an accountant is a steward
He manages others goods
nothing he has for himself
continually he gives account
it's a great thing to give account
it's a duty we owe to do
I wish all know how to give account
accountants, stewards
keeping a good and accurate records
and could render a worthy account
here or the life to come
when they stand before God the principal of all
after they receive the final call
my payer's all could hear my voice
that accounting is what all should know
accountants are always ready to render account
accountants are stewards
let credit be given to them
for the good service they always do
I am an accountant, a steward
always ready to render account.
