A Story(Telling) Poem by Alexzia Ferdinand

A Story(Telling)

there's a little bit of trickster
in all of us, professor said.
the way to rise above-
beat down the sly smile-
solutions regrettably lost
in tides and tumults of years.
he lectures on lies' longevity
which prey on change
not one small word
on escape.
shatteringly alive
shuddering it's way
out deviously delinquent
And we give in collectively
to tricks,
and webs,
and sticky, honey poison traps
that indirectly began
right now.
