A Suicide Note Poem by Shane Abrams

A Suicide Note

Rating: 4.2

I’m sorry I did it
I’m sorry I tried
But here are the reasons
For which I have died

To my mother you lied
You said you would need me, love me, and care
Every time I needed you
You were not there

My father to whom I was invisible
Though you were always there
It never felt like
You really cared

To all the people who caused me pain
I know you wanted me dead
Just because you didn’t do it
Doesn’t mean it wasn’t said.

As my blood falls to the ground
I take away all my pain
Don’t worry, with out me
Everything will be the same.

I like this poem a lot. It is true that the people who cause us pain dont realize how much it hurts. But remember that there is always someone who loves you!
