A Theory Of Poetry....
a thorn in the rose
perhaps is its own poem
a fishbone in my throat
could be my own poem
the cancer in her breast
was her best poem
the death of her son
was her composition
the birth of a child
the first communion
high school graduation
a welcome party
their wedding
pictures were taken
joys at their best dresses
laughter with friends
making love in the garden
a tryst in the woods
where are the poems?
they have forgotten.
