A Time To Live... - Poem by (brief renderings) Joe Fazio

Who Deserves To Live?

Do the weak revere life any less than
do the strong?

And, of the wealthy and
the poor, who most appreciates the warmth
of the sun, the richness of the land, the
magic of a starlit sky and the flowers
in the field.?

Does a wise man love life more than the
simplest of man?

Then tell me, who has more of a right to
their next breath of air, a King or a peasant?

It matters not the color, or religion, or cloth
of a man, we are all...each and every one
of us, His children.

A brief rendering. It transcends and rejects this wordly strife.Speaks of the religion of the mystics. So it reminded me of those Muslims who said; Elrazy; a muslim
thinker, when Islam and muslims were very tolerant. He said that there's no specific religion, and that God is ours all.And the Muslim Sufi, Elshanfery, whom God said
to him 'I am in the dress like the smell of the dress in the dress'.And that christian:
'It was a great marvel that they were in the Father without knowing Him'.And not to mention all the great Sminds of the world like Bergson, Spenoza Kant....All the wise people of all the religions of the world, incuding you and me.

Nice poem great thought.Brought to mind thoughts that came rushing
