A Train Ticket Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Train Ticket

A slip of paper, green and bright,
A promise whispered, soft and light.
No map I carry, no set plan,
Just onward, with the journey's span.

The whistle calls, a friendly sound,
New skies above, on unknown ground.
My heart beats steady, light and free,
The tracks ahead, they call to me.

No worry lingers, no doubt I hold,
Just stories waiting to unfold.
This ticket simple, a gentle art,
A brand new path, a brand new start.
