A Tramp In Our City - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

In our City
The tramp
Be a rarity.

Post-dusk
At night
He comes out.

Avid
Looks in any
Garbage
That remains

Then
Finding makes
His humble feast
And fare.

Then
Tired on the kerb
Or in dark corners
Sleeps.
