A Traumatic Memory Poem by james watkin

A Traumatic Memory

From out each awful,
Frightful derangement
Lady-faced, startled upright
Of what's re-lived, and
As intense re-told
Throughout a joint sleepless night

Matches this horror:
A stormy castle's.
And that, hair-tearing, on down
Nude-rushed, and wailing
For mad escapee
Of torture chamber's renown.
