A Tree Called Cousin It Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Tree Called Cousin It

Rating: 4.5

I know it isn't pretty
In fact it's right down sad
Nature has wreaked havoc
It kind of makes me mad.

He was just so very pretty
So full and fresh and fine
This beautiful fig tree
Although it is not mine.

No, the figs are for Randy
But the tree I call Cousin It
A show called the Addams Family
Why it truly is a perfect fit.

So I guess I must calm down
For it is what the season's do
They take away lush leaves
Change the scene for me and you!

So I guess I must calm down For it is what the season's do.....With the seasonal flow tree faces many changes. Tree beautifies life. This poem is very nice and interestingly penned.

Most poets have empathy for the fallen leaves: 'Oh the fallen leaves, I belog to thee'! It's a nice poem with a nice picture.
