A simple & loving soul,
embedding with a beautiful goal,
stepped out from the tingy hole,
to expand the horizon for better whole.
The limited sphere of Rameshwaram shore,
Didn't keep him hold!
He crossed all barriers with heart bold,


Dare to dream to touch with everyone's dream,
Added with thought & action
with layers of cream,
His twinkling eyes & smiling visage,
bears an igniting fire to fulfil everyone's thought in its cleavage!
People elect him with adoring full suffrage.

A previous newspaper seller &
India's space & missile programme chief,
Became people's president.!
His boundless infectious energy & positive ideology,
alienates him from others' philosophy.

A poet's heart opened the door,
to creep India out from the clutches of superstitious fur.

Set India in a glorious height,
with an exhilarating vision & thought bright!
Children were his future ladder,
he carved them to build our nation with blooming scanner.
Crowned him with medals lot,
But he loved the aura of herbal touch.
The great man loved the scenery green,
expressed his wish that his death day will be a working inn.
Worked & preached till his last breath,
with an invigorating desire to crack new potential & research till his soul rest in peace!
