A True Gift Poem by Panagiota Romios

A True Gift

Gifts don't have to be a present.
We think of them as in boxes with bows.

The best gift I cam think of.
Is a friend who lives beyond their own nose.

They call you when least expected.
They pray for you every night.

They are there for you, when feeling low.
And they disappear your fright.

What I am saying is a friend is the best gift, he fills you with glory and light.

He may not be with you but you are forever in his sight!

God came to us at Christmas, without
our asking.
A friend can be just like that, your warm
candle on a cold night,
