A Unique Pain Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

Troubled by a unique pain I am,
By the pain, that is three-folds -
Erupting from within,
Caused by the outside,
By the planets and the stars.
There exists the desire to know
Because I try to know
I can discriminate
And because I know
Everything for me is painful,
All of my experiences have given me pain
Even my joy, riddled with pain,
Makes me weep,
Nobody is happy anywhere.
Now,
Pain has made me indifferent to material things,
I must renounce the world by not clinging to life.
I should get rid of all desires and longings,
Seek absolute freedom from thirst,
Thereby, the cessation of pain
To escape Time.
