A Usual Practice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Usual Practice

Rating: 5.0

it is usual practice to rake
unwanted theory of fake
water is always there in lake
what is there at stake?

it is not made out of cake
one has to remain always awake
it may not take us very far
there will always be wordy war

one must see inwardly
should not blame others cowardly
if one sees properly with clear vision
there won't be any confusion

The whole world is fake and has dubious distinction
it is apperantly seen with action
who will decide what is right or wrong?
who know we are one of the culprits among?

it is bad legacy and we live under false assumption
there was never a sincerity for honest resumption
we have made it as complete mess
the bad consequences we daily face

it may not amount much in real
we are keen and expert to conceal
We may represent only sunny side
the difference in perception si very wide

nothing will change we do it
light may appear only when we lit
blessings only when you regret and fall on feet
happiness and joy only when you smile and greet
