A Vision
(Amid Corona pandemic)

Every branch of the tree
is full of blossoms,
The tree has become a
Christmas tree,
Birds are chirping on each bough,
Like Easter week,
Summer spring and autumn,
Tree has become a celebration.

Only one branch is still cold,
Winter is reigning at its bottom,
No flowers, fruits and birds,
Shadow and shower with cold air,
The branch is naked without leaves and twigs,
Life has lost all its forms and colours,
One branch is heavy with April shower.

India has recovered from its deadly disease,
From the shock of global pandemic,
The invisible Virus took precious lives,
Still for hard efforts and patience,
The pestilence has lost its grip,
Now the tree of life is back in form
and celebration dawns,
A Victory of humanity against
an unseen malady,
The COVID-19 is forced to leave
for the power of togetherness,
Will power and harmonious bond.

Only one branch is weak and sick,
Corona has taken a cosy shelter there,
This branch is vulnerable and rigid,
No song of thought and reason issung there,
A corner of the Country is Corona
friendly and dear,
People are less committed to the value
of life and Nature,
One corner - a state of utter confusion,
is breeding the seed of
Vile friend with love and care,
One branch of the country is still dark
amid celebration and victory
all over,
This will be the way of life after
the attack of a global pandemic.
