A Voice In The Universe Poem by Edwina Reizer

A voice in the universe
calls out to us all.
Some never hear it.
They just let it fall
on deaf ears each day
like the monkey who hears no evil
and will not listen to it say

'Awaken, you sleeping giants.
Become aware of your worth.
You have forgotten who you are
and why you are on the earth.'

Those that hear the voice so clear
have always known it was there.
They have felt the love within it
and listened to it declare

'You are made of love and nothing more.
The universe is yours.
And when you finally realize this
you will walk through all of its doors.'
