A wait in the dark is your moment of darkness.
When you feel all lost, empty and low,
When you go through deep depression and failures,
When your dreams are broken and your efforts get in vain,
And it becomes hard to hold back your tears or even hear yourself talk.
It is when life hits you hardest with its toughest blow,
That's when you need a wait in the dark.

It is your place of renewal and refinery.
That's when you sit, strategise and set your mind into action,
When your turn the ore in you into gold, diamond, platinum and titanium,
When you get up to start again and keep trying till you hit your target,
When you streamline your energy to build and leverage on your strengths to bounce back better,
That's when you need a wait in the dark.

It is the discovery of the real you.
Will you stay in the battle or you'll throw in the towel so soon?
It is where you unravel your true self, what you're made for and what you're made of,
It is where you expose your true purpose and cultivate it as a gift to the world,
That's when you need to wait in the dark.

It is your place of training and preparation!
To set you up for the next level of greater glory,
Where you learn to become the better you and transform your life story,
And you strive to be tenacious, courageous and fully determined to conquer and overcome your fears.

It is your place of prayer!
A battlefield where you kneel, pray and weep like a little child,
Where you ask for forgiveness, wisdom, strength and the favour for a second chance,
It is where you speak, decree and declare greatness into your life.
That's when you need a wait in the dark.

It is your place of higher expectations!
Where you make incredible commitments with fierce sacrifice to see your vision come to life,
Where you're grounded, rooted and unshakable to reach for the skies and beyond,
Until you've made a remarkable difference and enjoy the rewards of your inputs.
