A War Time Prayer Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Lord, please bless our warriors,
Protect them day and night,
Guide them through battle,
Forever in thy sight.

Let them know thy presence,
Each step along the way,
Giving strength and courage,
To sustain them, comes what may.

Is their guiding light,
In times of woe and strife,
Guiding them past the obstacles
In this struggle for their life.

And when the war is over
See them safely to this shore,
Where peace and love are cherished,
Behind every Christian's door.
