A Watched Tree Never Boils Poem by Sheena Blackhall

A Watched Tree Never Boils

Rating: 5.0

A Watched Tree Never Boils
(title after a sentence from Irene Lavery)

A watched tree never boils
A glove on the hand is worth two in the fridge
Many a slip between chips and gorillas
There's no smoke without hedgehogs
Spare the rod and spoil the steak
A rolling stone gathers no hyperbole
