A Whole Heap Of Stuff Poem by Francis Duggan

A Whole Heap Of Stuff

I have written a whole heap of stuff
Some of it average some slipshod and rough
Since I was in my life's prime
Thirty five years back in time
I've never referred to myself as poet
Nor am I one worthy of note
And though my better days long gone
I feel inspired for to pen on
Some to me even do say
That I should give penning away
But I do not heed their advice
To write on that is my choice
As there's none more addictive than I
I will write until the day I die.
