A Wicked Cloud Poem by Raekwon Jones

A Wicked Cloud

Rating: 5.0

Come lay your head on my cloud,
It wont rain.
Unless you make it so.

Clear skies; not a shroud,
You wont feel pain.
Unless I make it so.

There will be no storm,
In my sky.
Unless you go.

A golden dorm,
For your heart to lie.
In till i go.

For your heart to lie,
To its self and me.
To look into my eye,
And say it's not lonely.

To say you don't need me.

Well I'm not your divine,
I never tried to be.
You were mine,
Because I snatched the key,
That made you mine.
But the chest was rusty.
But that was fine.

I had a heart,
If only for a moment.
I had the heart,
Something so potent.
Yet we depart,
And i disowned it.
So have your naive heart...

Now where is mine?

It seems its somewhere within these lines,
But I never have enough time.
To listen to it yell.
To free it from its jail.
Find it for me,
Please...
Just find me.

If I only can rest my head on your cloud I would be safe. Nothing would dislodge me from there. But its only a cloud Beautiful. I like it. Mohabeer Beeharry Read my poems sometimes,
