Lost in a blank space,
Floating through time,
Without a familiar face,
To call mine.

Swimming through waters,
Of misery,
But then a divine soul came,
And set me free.

I kept turning around,
To gaze at the trickster past,
But I kept forgetting what I had now,
And how I want it to last.

What made you so special?
Oh, what makes you so special?
What made you the one?
Oh, what makes you the one?

What made you so special?
For you to be the one,
That knocked me off that nostalgic trestle,
And saved me from being crushed by that melancholic train on the run.
What made you the one?
To come into my life,
And as if you had a gun,
To come take hostage strife?

To make me feel a way I never felt?
To elevate me to a higher level.
To let the hand of love be dealt?

Oh what makes you the one?
To fly me like a heavenly dove,
To this place that’s as bright as a sun!
To this realm of love.

That beautiful smile,
Got through the wall,
And all the while,
I was taking the fall.

I have found a new me,
And it’s all because of you,
