A Wife Who Does Not Possess The Esteemed Character!
For all the people who live in this world
Surrounded by the roaring extensive ocean,
It is said that leading the family life with a wife
Who does not possess the esteemed character
And manners are not a fair and lovely family life!
The esteem for a house wife is supposed to be
to supporting the rituous saints, entertaining
the guests and relatives, courteous to the poor,
collecting the materials for leading the family life etc!
This poem 'A wife who does not possess the esteemed character! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Muthumozhik kaanji'
குறள் வெண்செந்துறை
ஆர்கலி யுலகத்து மக்கட் கெல்லாம்
தாரமா ணாதது வாழ்க்கை யன்று.2
