A Winter Song For You - Poem by Chang Yi Huang

When the snow floated out of the windows,
Wind was whistling, waked me from the nap.
Somehow snowflakes stirred up my memory of
your touch and your smiles.
Dear, I wish you were here with me.
Santa claus will tell you how much i care you,
when you hear the Caledonia.

I clasped your hands in mine and heard the bagpipe music,
when we traveled to Edinburgh....

I loved your poem, and found that you drew me right into the poem just like a good poet can do. I can still hear the song of winter as I begin to take my nap. Good work and welcome to Ph Lynn (Report) Reply
