A Wish, Story, Dream, Hope, Prayer, Nightmare, Desire, Secret. Poem by Alianna McThead

A Wish, Story, Dream, Hope, Prayer, Nightmare, Desire, Secret.

A wish she has come to conceal
Held away from the world, in her heart it appealed
To be such a faint gray rose
No water has yet spilled
A life has it repelled
Never questioned the fate
But endured with ossifying patience
A story held in a book
Somewhere on her shelf
Hitherto, it remained unseen
A dream he has come to hide
From his own eyes and heart
'Has it transformed yet? ' someone asks
But the answer continues to be the same
A butterfly shall not alter into a caterpillar
But in reverse it will work
A person stands; how beautiful this all looks!
He smiles, but it remains unseen
A hope she has come to plea
No sadness has entered her heart yet
She crawls in her bed
Tears roll down, happily content
A prayer she sings
As a lullaby to whom she'd missed
Slowly she speaks
Beautifully she sings
Yet, it remains unheard
A nightmare he has come to fear
Almost every night it appeared
A demon far beyond the creative lines of our human minds
Can fabricate
Lure him to a grave, filled with sweet drippy scent
A demon with dark cloak asks him to beg for his life
He stands, uncomprehending the vibe
Of the lusting demon whose craving the cries
The darkness settles down, his eyes has been gouged
He screams
Still, it remains unheard
A desire she has come to bury
Ugly, old and scruffy
She speaks but no one to converse
A poor creature in soul and morals
Not a slave was ever treated
The way she has been ignored and hated
Lost and confuse, she whispers a fact
No believers, saying only an act
Tears pour down
From the clouds, from her eyes
Afterwards, it remains unfelt
A secret he has come to hate
Needing the ability to hide it and escape the fate
That put him in the hands of a deadly angel
The angel smiles, unwilling to snatch
The fear his eyes holds
The joy his lips draws
The angel's wing fans off the dread
Of the blood splashed on his neck
The smile never left his lips
Just slide of emotions crossing his gems
However, it remained unfelt
