A Wonderful Dream Comes True Poem by vinitha nandagopal

It would have been a fascination, or a mere attraction; i never knew,
But there was a defenite flutter deep inside, whenever i met you....
Too young to comprehend the feelings; i left it at that;
Later i understood that it was not a passing fancy
That i had about you; but then it was too late,
And we were miles apart...
Years flew, but i never could forget,
The emotional wave you created once;
And atleast once a week, i'd fancy
Being closer to you...

Years later, i was surprised and thrilled,
When i met you once again,
To my wonder, you responded so warmly,
The way in which i have always wanted...
And while pondering upon it, i see that
We had a powerful vibration,
Towards each other all along
Which has brought us closer now
After a gap of too many years....
The stronger we try to deny it,
The more powerful it grows;
So i'm going to follow my heart...
And succumb to the excitement;
As i know that it's my personal dream,
Which has finally come true.
