A World Of Lies Poem by Tharindu Atukorala

A World Of Lies

Rating: 5.0

We live in a world full of lies
Cruel intentions that never die
Twisted souls mock us all
Power and greed spins us all
And in to a world we are born to live
fake thoughts, smiles and words that cling
Tears of pain wash our sins
What a ride we all begin

short but with a poem like this it doesn't need many words to convey your feelings. we all have the feeling at some point that we live in a cruel world filled with hate and lies and facades put on in the morning and removed in the cover of night but the facades never truely hide the person behind the mask. keep writing and don't give up on hope, because there are people out there don't need a mask to be someone they want you to think they are/ and one day you will find them. excellently written, great rhyme and unshaded feelings from the heart. keep hope my dear. and until then, let your pen be your release for your emotions. great job.10++ Jen
