A Yuletide Wish Poem by Shaun William Hayes

A Yuletide Wish

As I perceive the moon's light kiss
I wish that we will never miss
The love of friends in hearts held dearly
Dispelling doubts and showing clearly
The web of light that holds us all
Especially when we feel so small
Upon this moon, its fading crescent
Enough to show the light is present

So at this time of celebration
As we reflect in many nations
I hope the deeper truth imparts
That light shines always in our hearts
Within, within, within we go
Beyond the queen of ice and snow
It's there we seek the home of bliss
And seal it with a moonlight kiss
