Abide Poem by Paul Warren

Abide

Memories aren't always worth remembering
Sure there are times when they sing
But others will give a knot in the gut so tight
It will make you want to yell enough it's not right

So what do you do about them
Except to cry out just be at an end
To bury them down deep inside
And go back to things you abide.
