About Nature Poem by Francis Duggan

About Nature

The more I learn about Nature the more My realization grow
How little about her I do seem to know
Her secrets are many her beauty is rare
And none other with her can hope to compare
The more I learn about Nature the more I realize
That there is far more to her than does meet the eyes
She gives birth to new life in the greeness of Spring
When in her green woodlands her birds nest and sing,
Amongst her great mountains and where great surf waves roll
Renowned scientists have tried to look into her soul
And to their great disappointment they only do find
That her most precious secrets are not for human kind
The Goddess of Oceans and the Goddess of Land
Such beauty and such mystery and such power she command.
