About The Fire Of Love - Poem by Genova Maaa my mother

The Fire of Love which a mystic
experiences is neither ‚physical‘
nor ‚non-physical‘. It evades human
explanation. But the truth remains
that they truly experience this fire.

A soul in prayer, in meditation,
in devotion and deep concentrated
prayer, experiences it as the fire of love
for the Almighty God who is beyond
all religious concepts and dogmas.

(Modern psychologists have laboured hard to establish the pathological character of this state of consciousness; to find a place for it in the domain of psychic hallucinations. The mystics, however, who discriminate so much more delicately than their critics between true and false transcendental experiences, never feel any doubt about the validity of this „Sense of Presence of God") .

The burning flames of love into which a mystic ascends to is neither physical or non-physical. There is no human explanation for it. But the mystic still truly experiences this burning fire of love which consumes the heart as well as the soul. A soul in deep concentration in meditation, in prayer, in devotion experiences it as the fire of love for the Absolute who is beyond all religions, religious concepts and dogmas.
This excellently penned poem gives the reader a further insight into the love which a mystic feels for the divine. To be consumed in the fire of divine love, which is neither physical or non-physical is pure ecstasy which can never be described no matter how hard one may try to express what it feels like. There are no words to explain. Wonderful work! Thank you for sharing, dearest Tony...
