Above And Below Poem by Frank Boozer

Above And Below

Rating: 1.0

All evil starts with the best of intentions.
Under a bandit sky transformed into thief
The Devil masquerades as the personal ego
Hiding in clear site pictured as our friend

Do not kill your Devil let him sleep in the light
When he speaks of greed talk only of generosity
As he hates the other and ourselves invite love
Pray for those who create enemies to justify violence

At midnight truth flickers unsteady from a lesser light
Like a ship in dock become unmoored sailing to freedom
In the past rain flowed up ward into starry sky
Creating a world of liquid from above and below
