Abuakwa Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Abuakwa

In front of it,
Swearing the deity;
Nourishes,
Cherishes!
You need me and,
You can't leave me! !
But, the husband is the head of the wife.

Enlightened,
In that which is to come;
Purchased,
I need you and, i can't leave you! !
And like the desires of the flesh and of the mind;
Just like my name called Abuakwa in the land of many trees!
