Acceleration Poem by I write because I have to

Acceleration

I'm not sure where to begin
but I'm pretty sure where this all will end -
lost then found, then lost again
more lost then the start when hearts played no part
an answer to a question unspoken
only yields more questions
more moments spent guessing
less moments spent hoping
why are words so elusive
when connected to your hopes and fears,
fears of losing what you hold dear
or hopes that fear will bring you near -
fear that all of this unclear will cause what's clear to disappear
clearly this attraction is a reaction to passions
hidden under the surface, only hinted in actions
so what is the harm in tearing down the walls
and letting gravity accelerate the fall
we'll either land on our feet safe and sound
or that thing that we risked
that we sort of dismissed
won't exist...just like us when we both hit the ground
