Accidentally Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Accidentally

Accidentally

Try it closely to pry
-you can see in his eyes
-a mine of diluted emeralds.

Dead's uncle,
-Métis of Saskatchewan.

Story is of the Colten Boushie
-murdered, killed, by Gerald Stanley.

"All happened accidentally…"
-was fed to, and learned by, the jury
-ending in: "Not guilty! "

Deeply sad
-I drown myself in
-high tides, waves, so I laugh:

Accidentally!
Accidentally!
Accidentally!

Accidentally came Brits
Accidentally broke the Treaties
Accidentally land turned to property of the King
Accidentally white set laws of killing indigeneity in the child
Accidentally the word of Squaw was abused for women to be raped, sexual.

Racism shines in words and actions:
-offensive,
-derogatory,
-misogynist
-for women
-Indigenous,
-North American

Accidentally!
Accidentally!
Accidentally!

As it was in case of the Negro and Nigger or ‘Hey Boy'; exactly! ! !
