Acrobats Poem by Lamar Cole

Acrobats

Their father had told them that they were going to be acrobats.
It was to be so and that was that.
But their mother wanted them to go to school.
So that they could be nobody's fools.
It caused in the marriage such a ruckus.
When the father made the kids join the circus.
