Across The Boundaries Of Time And Space Poem by Przemyslaw Musialowski

Poetry is not about intelligence,
it is not about racking your brain,
not about solving the most difficult riddles,
but to be able to close your eyes
and take a flight with a falling star
across the boundaries of time and space
to a far away imaginary land,
where all the animals live at peace with each other
because hunger and thirst don't exist,
where there is no old age because having no such desire,
Man never picked a poisoned apple
from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

And having returned from the extraordinary journey,
to be able to tell others in simple words
what have you seen.
