Today has been so very hot,
My workload overbearing,
I worked so hard to fix my car,
To travel the miles to be by your side,
The journey will be long and relentless.
But to be with you will make it all worthwhile,
To look at your face and see your smile,
Is all I will dream of tonight.
You're in my heart, you're in my life,
One day soon you'll be my wife,
This love we have is so good and true,
All I really want is to be with you.
