Across The Valley Poem by George Price

Across The Valley

Rating: 4.5

Somewhere 'cross the stormy valley
Through the darkness, through the rain
There's a girl who cares, who doesn't think me a pain
There's someone out there in the rain.

Somewhere 'cross the stormy valley
Through the cold, through the stars
There's a girl who makes me free from the bars
There's someone out there in the stars.

Somewhere 'cross the stormy valley
Through the drizzle, through the black
There's a girl out there, who wants me back
There's someone, shining, out there in the black.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a rather hopeful and wistful poem, a description of me sitting at a window in a storm, staring out at what might be. Enjoy.
