Admirer Poem by Ray Hansell

Admirer

Rating: 5.0

You came into my life
In a most peculiar way
It came in the form of an email
Because you had something to say

You commented on my poems
With words written so sweet
I'm hoping somewhere down the road
We'll one day get the chance to meet

I always read your poems
They are so thought provoking
Even though now and then
You throw in a little joking

You've even written a limerick or two
They always make me smile
Even though I've tried my hand
I just can't seem to write in that style

Maybe I'll keep on trying
To see what I can do
Though secretly deep inside
I wish I could write like you

Exactly who you are
I will not ever say
But if YOU read between the lines
All the clues will come your way
