Adventurous Woman Poem by Claude Simpson

Adventurous Woman

She is smart,
Calm and peaceful;
She is kind,
Fair and helpful.

She is a pioneer
Of the street;
She sails, she drives;
She rocks the beat.

She docks her censorship
At sea.
She likes snacks
But prefers her tea.

She likes sailing
Because of the water
But she takes the ferry
Because it brings laughter.

She is witty,
Cautious and free.
She knows her rights
And what she wants to be.

An explorer, a unique woman,
She tries a lot
But her dysfunction
Is a blot.
