Affliction Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Affliction

Rating: 5.0

It's gone beyond addiction
I think it's an affliction
Every where I look
Might be something for my book
Flower, Bee, or Tree
Every microbe that I see
Could be a simple verse
Waiting to be rehearsed
All these words I write
help me to recite
I keep regurgitating words
that I think have all been heard
Then I stop and take a rest
Read the words, and slowly digest
I think I'm in a vex
This could be better than sex
Maybe not.........
But I can't stop

Its like that for me, the strangest places and times poems come to you is untrue but it becomes part of who you are, the best part by far... JoJo 10

Cool poem, words as as affliction that's an addiction...........pretty dang good addiction says moi.......... not sure that it's better, words, then what's mentioned in the ending..........all about balance, a little bit of this and a little bit of that....need to mix it up.................excellent, I'm laughing and that's a good thing...marci. :)
