Aged Eyes....
My eyes are dimmed with sorrow
and have aged because of my woes
It's hard to see the future
and what passing time may hold
The truth is in the heart
And what eyes cannot see
Because seeing is not always believing
It's in the heart that sings free
You know what they say, the eye is the window of the soul. Both joy and sorrow are reflected in our eyes. I like the way your poem make me try to peer into my future.
