After The Fall Poem by Ziyanda KUBONI

After The Fall

Quick run!
He is picking up the gun.
Hide!
He is coming like a furious tide.
His name is deception.
Ready to manipulate your perception.
One kiss is all it takes to seal your death.
He wants to wipe you off from the surface of the earth.
But still, you went ahead my darling and locked tongues with him.
Danced to the sound of his blasphemy.
Did you forget that he is the enemy?
I was disappointed in you honey.
But my heart broke when I saw your agony.
He hurt you, didn't he?
Hush now child of light.
I have heard your plight.
Do not hide from me like Adam did after the fall.
Come to me, my grace is sufficient.
Only when you are ready, I will wait for you.
You know I am patient.
This is me waiting on the other side
Hoping you do not slide
Nevertheless, I will be there after the fall.
Ready to pick you up.
