You Poem by Ziyanda KUBONI

You

Huge brown eyes that render me weak.
Loving you is my peak.

Before you,
I was just an empty shell,
Imprisoned in a cell,
Handcuffed by loneliness.

But in you,
I found happiness.

Rosy cheeks.
As soon as your mouth speaks,

Our love is mirrored through our creation—
The greatest collaboration,
Between two artists,
Inebriated by each other's passion.

Now we are forever bound
In deep affection.

He looks just like you,
Constantly reminding me of you.

You.

I am truly enamored of you.

Before you, I surrender and melt.
You make me feel
Things I've never felt.
